Make a Difference in your Community!

The ITEA Scholarship Program, administered by the local chapters, is designed to foster interest and education in technical fields that may benefit the test and evaluation profession.

Contribute to the Solution to Enhance the Future T&E Workforce!

ITEA is working smart to keep the Future T&E Workforce at the front of our mission.

  • We encourage Graduate Student’s to submit an article for consideration in the ITEA Journal of Test and Evaluation.
  • We encourage organizations to recognize their Early Career employees with a nomination for our Annual T&E Professional Awards program.
  • We provide scholarship dollars to your local students through your local Chapter! Ask us how you can get involved!
  • We host a STEAM-a-thon at the joint conference with the Directed Energy Professional Society (DEPS) and other events we host throughout the year. We support the STEAMLabsâ„¢ (an initiative out of Arizona State University ASU), with funds and built a two-way relationship of collaboration for making these events a great experience for the schools and kids.  Not only are the students allowed to take the kits back to the schools for future building opportunities, they have been awarded scholarship dollars based on 1st, 2nd and 3rd place performance in the competition.  It has been a great partnership.

A little background on STEAMLabsâ„¢:

Dr. Shawn Jordan, Professor at ASU, made a special effort to reach out to the Navajo Indian population (as well as other young students in the Phoenix area) in the hopes of raising their interest in science, technology, engineering, math and art. This has proven to be a grand success in the area and we have several testimonials from current engineers who would not have followed this path without the introduction to the STEAM Machineâ„¢ program. https://steamlabs.education/

“In the STEAM Machinesâ„¢ program, students work together in a project-based, cooperative learning environment in which students learn about 21st century real-world engineering skills, gain experience with systems thinking and multi-team collaboration, integrate the arts with science, technology, engineering, and math, and explore pathways to higher education and careers in engineering. “
