Exploring Cyber Test Ranges: Past, Present, and Future Perspectives

Where: Orlando, FL
When: September 17 – Tutorials, September 18-19 – Technical Program

Overview

Cyberspace attacks against information technology systems, weapons systems, and critical infrastructure remain a significant threat to the reliability and security of those systems. Cyber test and evaluation (T&E) and acquisition organizations increasingly rely on measuring the cyber performance of those systems using “digital twins” and other virtual versions of those systems and the components in them on cyber ranges of various sizes.

This workshop will cover the past, present, and future of testing on cyber ranges, including presenting techniques and tools for testing on ranges and emerging technologies for testing to identify, measure and mitigate impact from threats to system missions, resilience, and survivability. The workshop will present and discuss tools and methodologies enabling the early testing in a system’s lifecycle in support of a campaign of learning.

Please join us to share information, lessons learned, and knowledge with professionals from the US and international governments, industry, and academia.

Tutorials

ITEA offers 4-hour tutorials the day before the Workshop begins (Tuesday). This allows individuals to take advantage of increasing their continuing professional education credits. Tutorials require a separate registration from the Workshop. Instructors receive a complimentary registration to attend the Workshop; a secondary instructor will register at the full rate.

To help you to maintain, develop, or increase your knowledge, problem-solving, technical skills, or professional performance standards, these tutorials are often directly mapped to our CTEP certification and the four domains that have been identified by our Board of Examiners.  As a bonus, ITEA offers members an option to sit for the CTEP exam when choosing two tutorials per event.

Primary instructors receive a complimentary registration to the workshop.

Exhibits

Commercial, academic, and government exhibits will play an integral part in this Workshop. We will put you in the right place at the right time. Increase your visibility, network with key players, and show your support and commitment to industry and the community!
