T&E Challenges for Beyond Line of Sight - International Test and Evaluation Association
As testing requirements become more stringent with the need to collect data spanning hundreds of miles beyond the current capacity of a range, the ability to test robustly is becoming a challenge for the test and instrumentation community. From telemetry, data collection, to the ability to interoperate between ranges, etc., testing beyond line of sight offers unique challenges and opportunities. With such requirements in mind, the goal of the 2024 ITEA Test Instrumentation Workshop is to develop solutions for current test needs and emerging requirements in all the Major Range Test Facilities Bases (MRTFB).

Take advantage of increasing your continuing professional education credits. Tutorials require a separate registration from the Workshop and lunch is not included. The fee to attend a tutorial is: One ½ day – $300, Two ½ days – $500, One full day $500.
To help you to maintain, develop, or increase your knowledge, problem-solving, technical skills, or professional performance standards, these tutorials are often directly mapped to our CTEP certification and the four domains that have been identified by our Board of Examiners. Test your T&E competency! As a bonus, if you take an 8-hour class or two 4-hour classes, ITEA offers their members an option to sit for the CTEP exam for free (a $250 savings). Please contact kathi@itea.org for all the details.

The Hands-on-Lab (HOL) is a holistic journey through the entire flight test process. HOL represents seven different phases of flight test. Each of the phases is supported by a government Subject Matter Expert (SME) and partnering industry vendors. The SME provides an educational overview and the partnering industry vendors share a Hands-On experience with technical insight related to the specific phase they are representing. This experience was designed to allow attendees an opportunity to follow the flight test process through visualization of the signals, sampling of the data, interaction with the processes, understanding how changes in the test article translate to results in the test data, and how system formats are designed to be standardized for improved test interoperability, providing the integration of different vendors to achieve Development Test & Evaluation (DT&E) success.
ITEA is a 501(c)(3) professional education association dedicated to the education and advancement of the test and evaluation profession. Sponsorships, in part, are tax deductible.
Sponsorship opportunities are available to highlight your organization before and during the Symposium. Let us know your budget and we will help you get noticed.
