PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The GAO’s report* on Cybersecurity stated “DoD and DIB information technology systems continue to be susceptible to cyber incidents as cybersecurity threats have evolved and become more sophisticated.”

This workshop will cover advanced cyber defense techniques and tools, emerging technologies in identifying zero-day vulnerabilities, mission and system resilience and survivability, and much more. 

Please join fellow Cyber Test & Evaluation (T&E), Acquisition, and Operation professionals from the government, industry, and academia to share information, lessons learned and knowledge.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Sessions will be unclassified and open to the general T&E, DoD, Commercial, Academic, and Intelligence Communities, however, restricted sessions (up to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)) may be made available. Abstracts will be reviewed for a presentation during a technical session. Abstracts accepted for presentation, along with the slides, will be available on the online proceedings for attendees after the Workshop concludes.

Abstracts should be non-commercial in scope, pertinent to conference topic, and no longer than 500 words. Complete the abstract submission form and email to cyber@itea.org. Abstracts Due April 1st

CALL FOR TUTORIALS
Tutorials that address the theme of the workshop are being requested. Pending final program decisions, the tutorials will be scheduled in 4-hour blocks on Tuesday, August 29th. Tutorials must be strictly non-marketing in scope, unclassified, and publicly releasable. Please provide a synopsis of tutorial no later than April 1st to cyber@itea.org

PRE-WORKSHOP TUTORIALS (SEPARATE REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

The following pre-workshop tutorials are being offered on Tuesday, August 29th.  The fee to attend a 4-hour tutorial is $300 for 1 or $500 for two.  Registration for a tutorial does not require registration for the Conference.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits will be awarded for completion of the tutorials. A certificate of completion will be provided upon request.

SUBSTITUTION AND CANCELLATION POLICY: Substitutions are permitted. Refunds are not available within ten (10) days prior to the start of the event. Requests for cancellation submitted between ten (10) to 45 days prior to start date of the event will be subject to a $250 cancellation fee. Requests for cancellation greater than 45 days prior to the start date of the event will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

Check-In/Check-Out: Check-In time is 4:00pm and Check-Out time is 12:00pm.  Please contact the hotel directly for more details.

Billing: A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation. The card will be authorized 3 days prior to checkin. 

Cancellations: The  hotel  requires  a  48-hour cancellation notice prior to the reservation date. Late cancellations will result in  the  first  night’s  stay  being  billed to your credit card.

Parking: Parking is free for guests and visitors.

In addition to the Pre-Workshop Tutorials, the Workshop provides 4 contact hours of instruction (4 CPEs) for each half-day, 8 contact hours of instruction (8 CPEs) for each full-day, or 20 contact hours of instruction (20 CPEs) for attending the full Workshop, that are directly applicable to your professional development program, including the Certified Test and Evaluation Professional Credential (CTEP).
